Hivayota Lo: Travel to Africa

There are times when we wish to do this or that, but we can´t, we don´t really dare or just the thing we’d like to do is something different.

This post is about that.

What I am talking about is the chance to travel to Africa if this is one of the dreams that have passed through your mind sometime and, at the same time, doing it in a very special way.

This is how you can have that chance:

There is a NLO called Desafío Solidario (Charity Challenge would be a good translation), that does charity adventures.And precisely their 2013 summer challenge is going to Africa, from Madrid to Banjul in Gambia.

The aims of the said NLO are charitable in means of cooperation and collaboration, but here I`ll focus on the trip itself, although if you want to know exactly their charity purpose you can follow the link to their site.

Here is how you can achieve the chance to travel with them.

The Desafío Solidario Team will take off from Madrid in an ambulance and, if they can, another vehicle. The vehicles will be full of resources to be carried to the destiny. Upon arrival everything will be donated, including the vehicles, and they will come back with nothing but the clothes on.

By donating a minimum of 5 euros, you will have the chance to gain a –free of charge - place in the charity adventure, although there is another way to travel with them by your own means, they will asses you referring to vaccines needed, visa paperwork and anything you may need.
